I’m an ordinary person surrounded by extraordinary people: family, friends, and ministry partners. Though it can be daunting, I live in a place of contentment. Secure God has given me what I can handle and more than I deserve.
I grew up in a Christian home and I’m thankful for that blessing. Not a perfect home, but a faith-filled one. I learned that a positive attitude is essential to maintain a healthy perspective for today. Throughout her life, my mom demonstrated when we set out to bless others, rather than focus on our lack, we will gain wisdom and blessing in return.
A wife of 35 years and mom to three great guys, I love to write, sing, and share the wonders of Christ. Ever mindful that words hold the power to crush or to bless; I choose to bless but confess I sometimes slip. My weaknesses cause me to pursue God even more.
It’s my privilege to serve in church leadership for over 25 years. Through the ministry of teaching, speaking, and community outreach I encounter amazing people from all walks of life. A common thread is their need for words of encouragement. It saddens me to hear people who are handicapped by their past. People who battle feelings of hurt, failure, or lost success. God has a unique Purpose for each life and it’s my Passion to share His Promises.

Jewell Utt is a national speaker, Bible teacher, and author of over 200 articles and devotions with works included in an international evangelism curriculum. In her twenty-five years directing women’s ministries, she understands the challenges of the day. Through inspirational retreats, she encourages women to rest, reflect, and pursue a deeper relationship with Christ. Jewell and husband Craig live in a beautiful mountainous area. They have three amazing sons, three wonderful daughters-in-law, and five precious grandchildren.
