His Beauty Fills The Air – poem

 His Beauty Fills The Air

The seeping of a calloused word

Can more than set you down

It reaches in to tear your heart

And doubt will soon abound

It crushes spirit to the bone

All hope and light deterred

And makes your dreams halt to a stop

Which way now should you turn?

So to His precious arms you run

His confidence you seek

He knows your heart is teetering

On leaving those false dreams

Awake my darling, they are real

His beauty fills the air

The gifts I give I fully see

In bloom, none shall compare

So go ahead express your dreams

My spirit lies within

And don’t allow the thief to rob

That which I can bring

Sensing Hope

The soothing swoosh of crashing waves

In waters blue and clear

The salty air delights my lungs

Preserving hope and cheer
